"I chose to write about “Wonderwall” by Oasis because it’s a timeless pop song that, to me, really captures the essence of longing and the secret, exclusive kind of love you have when you’re just learning what love is. Also in there, and (hopefully) in the story I wrote, are Big Human Experience themes like the frustration of not being able to express yourself, the fear of not knowing what your future holds, and the tender hope that there’s one person out there who really gets you."
